2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

2 cups cooked jasmine rice

3 tablespoons soy sauce (divided)

2 tablespoons oyster sauce (divided)

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, grated

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Beef: In a mixing bowl, combine the thinly sliced flank steak with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Ensure the steak is evenly coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes to infuse the flavors.

    Blanch the Broccoli: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and blanch them for 2-3 minutes until they turn a vibrant green while remaining crisp. Immediately drain the broccoli and set it aside to preserve its color and texture.
