Ingredients

6 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your cheese of choice)

6 English muffins, split in half

6 slices of cooked bacon or sausage patties (optional for added flavor)

1 tablespoon butter

Fresh chives or parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s warm when you're ready to bake.

Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add the milk, along with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Whisk the mixture together until fully blended. Then, gently fold in the shredded cheese until evenly distributed.

Cook the Eggs: Heat a medium skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Once melted, pour in the egg mixture. Reduce the heat to low and allow the eggs to cook slowly. Stir occasionally with a spatula, ensuring that the mixture remains fluffy and creamy. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the eggs are just set.

Toast the Muffins: While the eggs are cooking, place the split English muffins in a toaster or on a baking sheet in the oven to lightly toast them until golden brown, approximately 2-3 minutes.

Assemble the Muffin Sliders: Take the toasted English muffin halves and place a generous scoop of the scrambled egg and cheese mixture on each bottom half. If you’re adding bacon or sausage, place a slice or a patty on top of the egg mixture. Cap each slider with the top half of the muffin.

Bake the Sliders: Arrange the assembled muffin sliders on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is wonderfully melted.

Garnish & Serve: Once baked, remove the slider muffins from the oven. For an extra touch of flavor, sprinkle with chopped chives or parsley if desired. Serve warm and relish in the delightful Mini Egg and Cheese Muffin Sliders!
