1 cup buttermilk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 large egg

Marinate the Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Add the bite-sized chicken pieces, ensuring they are thoroughly coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours) to allow the flavors to meld.

    Prepare the Breading Station: Set up your breading station by organizing three shallow dishes: place the Panko breadcrumbs in one, the all-purpose flour in another, and crack and beat the egg in the last bowl until smooth.

      Coat the Chicken: When ready to bread, remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator. Take each piece of chicken and first coat it in the flour, shaking off any excess.
