Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded

2 ripe peaches, sliced thinly

4 ounces prosciutto, torn into strips

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Arugula, for serving (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven now to heat up alongside.

Prepare the Dough: Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch round shape. Transfer the rolled dough onto a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal or onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Brush with Olive Oil: Generously drizzle the olive oil over the surface of the dough, using a pastry brush or the back of a spoon to spread it evenly across, leaving a small border for the crust.

Add Ricotta Cheese: Spoon dollops of ricotta cheese onto the oiled dough, then gently spread it out with the back of a spoon or a spatula, ensuring an even coverage while maintaining that border around the edges.

Layer the Toppings: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella uniformly over the ricotta layer. Next, artfully arrange the thin peach slices across the cheese for a colorful, enticing presentation.

Add Prosciutto: Distribute the torn prosciutto pieces evenly over the peaches, allowing for delightful pockets of salty goodness as it bakes.

Season It: Drizzle honey lightly over the assembled toppings, followed by a sprinkle of chopped rosemary for aromatic flair. Finish with a pinch of salt and a dash of freshly cracked black pepper.

Bake the Pizza: Using the pizza peel, carefully slide the pizza into the preheated oven or onto the hot pizza stone. Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes, watching closely until the crust turns a beautiful golden brown and the cheese is gloriously bubbly.

Finishing Touch: Upon removing the pizza from the oven, let it cool for about a minute. For an added layer of flavor and crunch, top with a handful of fresh arugula if desired.

Slice and Serve: Cut the pizza into slices and serve immediately. For an extra touch of sweetness, drizzle a bit more honey on top just before enjoying.
