Ingredients

1 bag of tortilla chips (approximately 12 oz)

1 cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup sliced pepperoni

½ cup sliced black olives

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

1 bell pepper (red or green), diced

1 cup fresh spinach leaves

½ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Optional: Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) to create the perfect environment for the nachos to bake.

Prepare the Base: Take a large, oven-safe baking dish and evenly spread the tortilla chips across the bottom. Make sure the chips are arranged in a single layer for optimal crispiness.

Add Sauce: With a spoon, generously dollop the marinara sauce over the layered tortilla chips. Use enough sauce to coat the chips without making them too soggy.

Layer the Cheese: Sprinkle an even layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the marinara-covered chips. Follow this with a generous layer of grated Parmesan cheese to give rich flavor.

Add Toppings: Evenly distribute the sliced pepperoni, black olives, thinly sliced red onion, diced bell pepper, and fresh spinach leaves over the cheesy layer. This ensures every bite is filled with delicious toppings.

Season: Lightly sprinkle the dried oregano and garlic powder over the mixed toppings. These spices will enhance the depth of flavor in the nachos.

Bake: Carefully place your baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese has fully melted, bubbling, and lightly golden on top. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.

Garnish: Once baked, remove the nachos from the oven and let them sit for a minute. Garnish with fresh basil leaves for a burst of color and aroma, and if desired, drizzle with balsamic glaze for a delightful balance of sweetness.

Serve: Allow the Neapolitan Nachos Supreme to cool slightly before serving. Present them with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping, making it a fun and interactive dish for guests.
